By downloading, installing, or using AlcoLog ("the App") or accessing the AlcoLog website at alcolog.app ("the Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App or Website.
AlcoLog is operated by Dean Chew, a sole trader domiciled in the United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our").
You must be at least 18 years of age to use AlcoLog. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. AlcoLog is intended for use by adults who wish to monitor and understand their alcohol consumption.
AlcoLog is a personal alcohol tracking tool. It is designed to help you log drinks, monitor your intake, track costs and calories, and understand your drinking habits over time.
AlcoLog is not a medical device. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical advice. The App should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have concerns about your alcohol consumption or health, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Features such as AlcoScore, alerts, insights, and medication logging are informational tools only. They are not clinically validated and should not be relied upon for medical decision-making.
AlcoLog does not require an account to use. There is no sign-up, no login, and no password. Your data is stored locally on your device.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from device damage, loss, theft, or software issues.

AlcoLog offers a free tier with full core functionality. Optional paid subscriptions (Pro and Premium) unlock additional features and customisations. One-time lifetime purchases and optional support tips are also available.
Lifetime options provide permanent access to the corresponding tier without recurring billing.
The Tip Jar offers entirely optional consumable purchases to support ongoing development. Tips do not unlock any features and do not affect your tier. They are voluntary contributions only.
All payments are processed and managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment or billing information.
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Any price changes will take effect for the next billing cycle following notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by Apple in advance of any price increase, in accordance with App Store policies.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms and the Apple Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA).
The content on the AlcoLog website is provided for general information and promotional purposes. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.
All images, screenshots, and mockups on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. The actual App design, layout, features, and functionality may differ from what is shown.
AlcoLog includes optional medication logging features (such as tracking doses of Naltrexone, Gabapentin, and other medications). These features are provided as personal logging tools only.
AlcoLog provides tools to help you track and understand your alcohol consumption. It does not encourage or discourage drinking. The information provided by the App (including AlcoScore, alerts, insights, unit calculations, and calorie estimates) is based on general guidelines and standard formulas. It may not be accurate for every individual or situation.

We are not obligated to provide support, updates, or bug fixes, though we endeavour to maintain and improve the App regularly.
AlcoLog integrates with Apple services including the App Store, Apple HealthKit, Apple Watch, and iOS widgets. Your use of these integrations is subject to Apple's own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or functionality of third-party services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UK law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dean Chew from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or Website, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law.
You may stop using AlcoLog at any time by deleting the App from your device. Your locally stored data will be removed when the App is deleted.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the App or any of its features if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms.
Upon termination, any licences granted to you under these terms will immediately cease. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law will survive termination.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of AlcoLog shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
