The History tab is where you see what your drinking actually looks like over time, not just for tonight. It packs a monthly overview, a trend graph, a calendar heatmap, and a session list into one scrollable screen. This tutorial walks through what each piece shows you and how they cross-reference each other.
# Step 1. Open the History tab
Tap the History tab in the bottom navigation bar. The screen loads with the current month centered in the Monthly Overview carousel at the top. If this is your first session, you see “No sessions logged yet”; the rest of the screen builds out as you log.
Below the carousel, four sections stack: Trend graph, Units by Day calendar heatmap, and All Sessions list. Scroll the page to move between them.
# Step 2. Read the monthly overview
The carousel shows one month per card. Swipe left or right (or use the picker that appears when you tap the month label) to step through any month with at least one session.
Each card has five stats: sessions, drinks, units, calories, and cost (in your default currency). Up arrows in red mean you went up vs the previous month, down arrows in green mean you went down. A 🎊 appears next to the month name when every metric improved.
Empty months show “-” placeholders. The carousel is bounded by the earliest month you have a session in; you can’t scroll back further than that.
# Step 3. Watch the trend graph
The Trend section is a line chart with two pickers: a metric (📅 sessions, 🍻 drinks, μ units, 🔥 calories, 💰 cost) and a range (1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, All).
The solid line is the actual value per period; the dashed line is a rolling average so you can see whether you’re trending up or down without the noise.
Tap the chart to pop a fullscreen rotated overlay so you can see the same chart wide-screen. Tap again to dismiss. In the 1M range you can also swipe left and right on the inline chart to step between months without leaving the page.
# Step 4. Read the calendar heatmap
The Units by Day heatmap shows every day of a month, coloured by units consumed. Lighter cells are quieter days; darker cells are heavier ones. Days with no drinks are blank.
Sober days display a 🏆 trophy with a streak counter (e.g. 🏆 ⭐5 for the fifth consecutive sober day). Your best-ever streak is shown beneath the calendar in the legend.
Tap any heavy-day cell to scroll the All Sessions list further down to that day. Tap a sober trophy day to toggle whether it counts toward your streak (handy if you forgot to log a session and the day got marked sober by accident).
# Step 5. Drill into a session
The All Sessions list at the bottom of the page shows every session you’ve logged, newest first. Each card shows the date, time range, total duration, and the standard stats line: drinks, units, calories, cost.
Tap the chevron on a card to expand it. The session timeline (the same chart you saw on Home during the session) is shown alongside an editable list of every drink. Tap a drink’s pencil to edit it; tap the X to delete it. The session totals recalculate immediately.
To delete an entire session, swipe its card left and confirm the alert. Deleted sessions are removed from your monthly overview, the trend graph, and the heatmap.
That’s the full picture: the carousel gives you the month, the graph gives you the trajectory, the heatmap gives you the rhythm, and the list gives you the detail.
